SKANE Intended Use and Limited Use Agreement

By purchasing, possessing, or using a SKANE product ("Product"), the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. Intended Purpose

The SKANE is designed and marketed solely as a fashion accessory, collectible, and lifestyle product. It is not designed, manufactured, tested, certified, or marketed as a medical device, mobility aid, walking cane, or assistive device.

2. Weight Support Limitation

The purchaser understands and acknowledges that the Product is not designed or intended to support any portion of a person's body weight.

The Product must never be used:

  • As a walking cane or mobility aid;
  • To support body weight;
  • To prevent falls;
  • As a substitute for a medically approved walking cane or assistive device.

3. User Responsibility

The purchaser assumes full responsibility for using the Product only as intended.

The purchaser agrees to discontinue use immediately if the Product becomes damaged, bent, cracked, loose, or otherwise compromised.

4. Assumption of Risk

The purchaser understands that improper use of the Product may result in property damage, serious bodily injury, or death.

By using the Product, the purchaser voluntarily assumes all risks associated with any use inconsistent with its intended purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SKANE and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from:

  • Misuse of the Product;
  • Use inconsistent with this Agreement;
  • Use of the Product as a medical or mobility aid;
  • Failure to inspect or properly maintain the Product.

Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

6. Acknowledgment

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read this Agreement, understand its contents, and agree that:

  • The SKANE is a fashion accessory and lifestyle product.
  • The SKANE is not intended to support any portion of body weight.
  • The SKANE is not a medical device or mobility aid.
  • I assume responsibility for using the Product only as intended.

You must accept the terms and conditions to continue.
